Murmuring against God in the wilderness journey A redactional profile in the Book of Numbers
Main Article Content
Abstract
The murmurings and rebellions before God during the wilderness wanderings are a script for a broader understanding of the theology of the book of Numbers. In the rhythm of the narratives we see how the people clarify their conscience before God and in the theatre of the people around them. In this solitude of the wilderness journey they are tempted by God to purify their faith. This theological thread is gradually dealt with in the cycle of the rebellions (Num 11-21), and, at the same time, favours the structural dimension of this book.
