Abstract
Aportación documental sobre la iglesia parroquial de El Salvador de Caravaca que contiene las Reales Provisiones del Consejo de Órdenes Militares, noticias sobre el estado del templo en los años previos al inicio de las obras en 1536-1537, informaciones acerca del desarrollo de la construcción durante sus primeros años bajo la dirección del maestro cantero Martín de Homa, algunas menciones al trabajo invernal en las canteras, así como el primer testimonio de la presencia de Jerónimo Quijano en El Salvador como veedor de la obra, contratado por el concejo de la villa.
Summary: Documentary contribution on El Salvador parish church in Caravaca which contains the Royal Stipulations of the Military Orders, news about the situation of the temple during the years previous to the beginning of the works in 1536-1537, reports related to the development of the construction during the first years under the management of the stonemason master Martin de Homa, some evidence on winter work at quarries as well as the first testimony on the presence of Jerónimo Quijano in El Salvador church as a supervisor hired by the town council.
