Abstract
II. Del Prológo. III. A la Escucha del Capítulo Primero.
Abstract: This paper aims to show the progress of reading in phenomenologicalhermeneutic approach the programmatic text written by the Franciscan philosopher, St. Bonaventure Bagnoreio entitled, Itinerarium mentis in Deum. In this rereading of the text, Barrera-Velez works around the hypothesis that the Itineraerium mentis in Deum is an unsystematic outline of hermeneutic anagogical-mystic framed in the metaphysics of the image from which St. Bonaventure articulated the rational philosophical reflection with the contemplative attitude of the mystical experience. The
body of the text sets the following headings: I. Posing the Question; II. The Preface; and, III. Listening to the first chapter.
