Abstract
Además de ver la figura de Cisneros como un hombre de Iglesia, hay que considerarlo también como un hombre emprendedor. Gracias a su actitud emprendedora acometió a lo largo de su vida iniciativas exitosas de carácter religioso, político, social, cultural y científico. Concretamente, en el ámbito científico hay que señalar su aportación a las lenguas en general y a la lengua española en particular, a través de su decidido apoyo a los ámbitos de
la traducción y de la edición.
Abstract: Cisneros, on top of being a churchman, must also be considered as an entrepreneur. Thanks to his entrepreneurial attitude, throughout his life he undertook successful initiatives of religious, political, social, cultural and scientific studies. In the field of science, his expertise in the languages should be noted in general and to the Spanish language, in particular, through his strong support in the areas of translation and the editorials.
