Presentation: Logos, Agape, Sarx. A Christian Dialogic
Main Article Content
Abstract
The encounter of the Christian proclamation of the death and resurrection of Christ with the Logos of Greek philosophy constitutes one of the most exciting episodes of the human spirit. This encounter culminated the Christian claim, which links the absolute with the concrete life of a first-century Jew. Indeed, the Gospel narrative itself needed the Greek Logos in order to universalize the scope of its deepest meaning. But, at the same time, this Logos, understood as creative reason, needed a process of evangelization that Christianity carried forward, in a tremendously creative way, by means of an amplification of the same thanks to two key figures of the new faith: Agape and Sarx. Thus, the life of the Son of God come in the flesh was considered to be the purest act of reason ever.
