Abstract
En este trabajo queremos destacar el papel que juega la providencia en el devenir de los acontecimientos dentro de las obras de los tres historiadores más icónicos del reino visigodo de Toledo. Para ello, realizaremos un análisis heurístico de las fuentes de estos intelectuales visigodos con el objetivo de demostrar que uno de los ejes que articula sus obras es el juicio de Dios como categoría histórica.
Abstract: In this work we want to draft the role that providence plays in the evolution of events within the works of the three most iconic historians of the Visigothic kingdom of Toledo. For this, we will carry out a heuristic analysis of the sources of these Visigothic intellectuals with the aim of demonstrating that one of the axes that articulates their works is the judgment of God as a historical category.
