Abstract

A través del comentario a El “Hecho Extraordinario”, testimonio autógrafo de la conversión religiosa del filósofo español Manuel García Morente, acaecida en el año 1937, se verá la participación que la intuición y la razón, así como el conflicto entre ambas, tuvieron en un proceso de conversión marcado tanto por el quehacer filosófico como por la irrupción de la epifanía. Se demostrará que, siguiendo los presupuestos de la fenomenología, la razón se muestra obsoleta en algunos actos de percepción y cómo, en esta coyuntura, la intuición reivindica un papel legítimo. A lo largo de estas páginas, pues, nos detendremos en los distintos puntos de tensión entre ambas, así como en la aceptación final de la realidad como donación que no puede ser constreñida por categorías apriorísticas. 

Abstract: By the commentary about El “Hecho Extraordinario”, autograph testimony of the Spanish philosopher Manuel García Morente religious conversion, that it´s happened in 1936, we will see the involvement of intuition and reasoning, as well as the conflict between both of them, had in a conversion process that is concerned not only by the philosophical job, but also by the revelation emergence. It will be demonstrated that, following the phenomenology requires, the reasoning results useless in some perception acts. It will be demonstrated also, how, in this context, the intuition reclaims a right role. So that, along these pages, we will attend to the different points of tension between both of them, as well as the final acceptance of the reality as donation which cannot be restricted to previous categories.
