Abstract
A mediados de los años setenta, tomó forma una nueva aproximación religiosa encaminada a recobrar un fundamento sagrado para la organización de la sociedad. Este renacimiento ha llevado consigo la expansión de algunas religiones que consiguieron adeptos en sociedades donde antes no los tenían. El resurgimiento religioso supuso también que la gente se volviera hacia las religiones tradicionales, las vigorizara otra vez y les diera nuevo significado. El Hinduismo y el Budismo experimentaron nuevas oleadas de adhesión, actualización y práctica por parte de personas que con anterioridad eran creyentes desinteresados. Frente a este «revival religioso» se encuentra el problema de la secularización.
Abstract: In the mid-seventies, took shape a new religious approach aimed at recovering a sacred foundation for the organization of society. This revival has been accompanied by the expansion of some religions that got fans in societies where none existed previously. The religious revival also meant that people would turn to traditional religions, invigorated again and gave them new meaning. Hinduism and Buddhism experienced new waves of accession, updating and practice by people who previously were believers disinterested. Faced with this «religious revival» is the problem of secularization.
