Qo 4,17-5,6. Elementos estilísticos-estructurales y retóricos Qo 4.17 to 5.6. Stylistic-Structural and Rhetorical Elements
Main Article Content
Abstract
Abstract: Qo 4.17 to 5.6. Stylistic-Structural and Rhetorical Elements
The exhortative section in 4.17 to 5.6 is one of the centers of the theological
message of Qohelet and one of the finest and completed parts of his work on literary
composition and rhetoric. In this respect, the analysis serves both the form and structure
being the content of the whole work: the textual analysis made from stylisticformal
categories and its occasional rhetorical description under traditional terminology,
then follows by the structural analysis of the verses based on the repetitions
lexical-syntactic and semantic structuring. All of this comes before the explicit interpretation
of the essential ethos of the environment that set the relationship between
God and man.
